Always keep in mind,
The ties you separate,
Keeps confined prisoners,

You don't regret what you did,
You're afraid,
You made the wrong choice,

No matter what lies beneath the surface,
Or who or what should be the bearer of light,
Nothing matters, as everything ends with a purpose,

A murder of crows will follow you,
Until the end of your days,
You will never have to turn around,

They can spare you any pain,
Your heart knows how scary it is when your mind will not hear,
Back is to the wall,

Keep in mind that there's no such thing as perfection,
Scratch the surface and secrets bleed through,
You just can't shake the guilt or resist the temptation,

You see a monster but that doesn't mean that it's there,
It has already known your taste for so long,
And could go without,

Could you mend where they cut their ties?
Your dreams are your escape,
When the truth hurts, you believe in nothing.
